But his only interest was in the dark factory. The guard shrugged. Charles started up the bulldozer and charged the heavy machine toward the small back door of the factory. As the bulldozer began to rumble forward, Charles awoke -- with a massive erection. The dream puzzled Charles. But it enlightened the therapist. To him it revealed that Charles was in the grip of the Madonna/Whore complex. This is the attitude that divides women into "good" and "bad." Thus, a man's wife and especially mother, are "good."
